The Academic Performance Index (API) is a measurement of academic performance and progress of individual schools in California. API scores range from 200-1000, with the goal to score above 800. As evident in the graph below, James B. Davidson Middle School has exceeded that goal, showing marked growth in their overall school API over the past four years, as well as major growth in all significant subgroups.
